Dihydrotestosterone (APK #478)

Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is an androgenic hormone synthesized primarily in prostate. DHT plays a primary role in the formation of the male genitalia during embryogenesis and it acts as the primary androgen in the prostate and hair follicles in adulthood. In medicine it is used mainly in the treatment of low testosterone levels.
