UJEP The MetAmino Kit® was used for the determination of amino acids in soils with a focus on the rhizosphere. The tested soil was contaminated with organic pollutants (diesel, PAH). If we compare the MetAmino Kit with the direct injection method without derivatization, higher and narrower peaks were achieved for the monitored amino acids. The advantage of the kit is the delivery of a complete set for sample preparation including isotopically labeled standards.
